The aim
Hit the ball to the front wall so your opponent cannot make a legal return before its second bounce. This guide covers singles.
Scoring
Every rally scores a point. Games go to 11, with a margin of 2; matches are usually best of 5 games.
Key rules
- Serve directly above the front-wall service line; unless volleyed, the ball must bounce in the opposite rear quarter.
- Return the ball before its second bounce, reaching the front wall above the tin and below the out-line.
- Clear space for your opponent. If a shot is unsafe because of interference, stop and request a let.
