Intentional foul

An intentional foul causing an immediate fight-ending injury means disqualification. If the injured fighter continues, the offender must lose 2 points.

Accidental injury

After an accidental injury, scorecards can decide the bout once 2 of 3 or 3 of 5 scheduled rounds are completed. Earlier stoppages require the referee to determine the applicable result.
