Stopping the fight

Only the referee can stop the contest. Fighters must obey instructions and stop attacking when action is halted.

Replay

Replay can review the fight-ending sequence after the official stoppage. Once that review is used, the fight cannot restart.

Local commissions determine which version an event adopts. The source includes changes requested for November 2027. These future provisions are identified separately; they must not be assumed to apply today.
