Deadlines

Timing, behaviour and jury-decision protests normally have a 15-minute deadline from publication of the relevant unofficial result or decision. Sprint quarter-finals and semi-finals have special restrictions.

How to submit

Authorised team captains or national associations submit a reasoned written protest in English with evidence and a CHF 100 deposit. Appeals follow a separate procedure and different deadlines.

Numbers refer to PDF viewer pages. Topic numbers are editorial. This guide combines the supplied FIS cross-country competition rules with the cross-country equipment specifications. It covers snow racing, not ski jumping, Nordic combined or roller skiing.
