Cold-weather decisions

For ordinary FIS races, temperatures below −20°C at the coldest course point require postponement or cancellation. The jury also assesses wind, snow and other difficult conditions.

Popular races

Popular events admit licensed and unlicensed skiers under their own provisions. Their cold rule uses −25°C or below over a major course portion; do not confuse the two thresholds.
