Requirements cover high-to-low flight, same-bar flight, different grips and a non-flight full turn. Mounts and dismounts cannot satisfy every category; the precise exclusions matter.
Variety and connections
Generally only 3 elements from the same root skill count for difficulty, requirements and connections, with specified exceptions. Direct flight combinations can earn connection value when their formula is met.
Independent explanations and translations, not official federation publications. Women's artistic gymnastics comprises vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. The all-around total combines the scores from all 4 apparatus. Qualification, team, all-around and apparatus finals serve different purposes. These explanations follow the supplied FIG code; national and developmental competitions may use adapted rules.
