Titles and ties

The drivers’ title uses each driver’s total points; the constructors’ title combines both cars. Championship ties are resolved by most race wins, then most second places and so on. If still unresolved, the same comparison uses drivers’ qualifying results. A dead heat in a classified position shares the combined points equally.

Full race points and the minimum condition

At least 75% of scheduled race distance completed by the leader gives the first ten classified places 25–18–15–12–10–8–6–4–2–1 points. In every case the leader must complete at least two full consecutive laps without Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car procedures, otherwise no points are awarded. There is no fastest-lap bonus in this table.

Reduced race scales

Once that minimum condition is met, below 25% distance the first five receive 6–4–3–2–1. From 25% to below 50%, the first nine receive 13–10–8–6–5–4–3–2–1. From 50% to below 75%, the first ten receive 19–14–12–10–8–6–4–3–2–1. These are distance-based scales, not a blanket half-points rule.

Sprint points

A sprint awards the first eight classified places 8–7–6–5–4–3–2–1 points only if the leader completes at least 50% of scheduled distance. The same minimum of two complete consecutive laps without Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car applies. Below the distance threshold no sprint points are awarded.
