The rule

Wheelchair players may return the ball after two bounces, with the first in bounds and the second anywhere on the playing surface. They must return it before a third bounce. Wheelchair service and non-volley-zone contact have specific wheel-based requirements.

In practice

Eligible adaptive standing players may use the two-bounce option in adaptive or hybrid play only when qualified and declared before the match. It then applies throughout the match. A disability does not automatically grant this option to every standing player; hybrid doubles pairs a wheelchair player with a standing partner.
