In practice
Measurement preparation matters: a wet sail, a displaced fitting or the wrong loading condition can change a result. The equipment rules provide procedures for hull, rig, sail and boat measurements, while class rules supply applicable limits and permitted variations. Ask which inspection documents apply and keep required identification marks intact; passing one check does not remove continuing compliance obligations.
