Parallel
Opponents race on adjacent courses. Individual elimination heats use two runs with a course swap; entering the opponent's course or interfering can cause disqualification.
Combined
Alpine combined adds a downhill or super-G run to a slalom run. Team combined divides these runs between teammates; mixed team parallel uses its own points and tie-break rules.
