More than the overall standings

Stage races may have points, mountains and other sporting classifications alongside overall time. The daily team classification normally adds the best 3 individual times from each team; team time trials use event-specific provisions. A team with fewer than 3 riders drops out of the overall team classification.

Which jersey takes priority?

The leader of an individual classification must wear the relevant leader's jersey. If a rider leads several classifications, overall time takes priority, then points, then mountains, then other classifications in the organiser's order. Another eligible rider may wear a jersey on the leader's behalf; this does not make that rider the classification leader.
