Getting food and drink

Organisers provide marked feeding zones where authorised team staff hand up refreshments. Feeding from cars follows separate convoy rules and is prohibited inside marked feed zones. Normally feeding is forbidden in the first 30 km and last 20 km, with additional restricted places; commissaires may adapt these distances to conditions.

Dispose of waste safely

Waste must be deposited safely at the roadside in designated litter zones, not thrown onto the roadway. Riders may also hand bottles and clothing to authorised vehicles or feeding staff. Glass objects are forbidden. Exceptional arrangements, including during extreme heat, depend on commissaires' decisions.
