The changeover schedule

Change ends after the first game and every subsequent odd-numbered game of the set. In a tie-break, change ends after every 6 points. A change of ends does not always include a rest break; the timing rule governs the available pause.

Correcting a missed change

Correct an end-change error as soon as it is discovered and resume the proper sequence. All points already played remain valid. If the error is discovered after a faulty first serve, only the second serve remains; correcting the position does not restore the first serve.
