Pitch limits

The listed daily maximum is 85 for U-12, 95 for U-15 and 105 for U-18. A pitcher reaching the limit during a batter may finish that batter. Mandatory rest depends on pitches thrown; consecutive-day use has additional restrictions. The full workload table must be checked before eligibility is decided. U-23 and Women’s World Cups have no pitch-count limit in this appendix.

Equipment exceptions

Youth events have specific bat certification requirements and younger categories require double ear-flap helmets. Approved bat lists and the event category both matter. These are event-specific provisions: do not transfer youth dimensions, bat approvals or workload limits indiscriminately to senior baseball.
