Award and restart

An all-out occurs when every opponent is out and nobody is entitled to revive. It adds 2 points, after which the team returns to play. A captain can also declare the last remaining players out under the source's procedure.

Returning promptly

The team must return within 15 seconds. Further delays incur 1 technical point for each 15-second period; failure to return within 1 minute loses the match.

Independent explanations and translations, not official federation publications. This guide explains standard team kabaddi using the supplied IKF rules. Teams alternate attacking raids and defensive tackles; it does not automatically apply the additional regulations of a professional league. A raider enters the opposing half, tries to touch defenders and returns safely while maintaining the prescribed chant. Defenders try to prevent that return without using prohibited holds.
