Warnings and suspensions

Under the main IKF text, green is a warning. Yellow brings a 2-minute suspension and 1 technical point to the opponents. A second yellow in the same match is treated as red and ends that player's match.

Officials and source differences

The referee and umpires enforce play; scorers track points and revivals. The appended officials text uses different yellow-card wording. This guide follows the clearly labelled main rules for that conflict, rather than combining the incompatible procedures.

Independent explanations and translations, not official federation publications. This guide explains standard team kabaddi using the supplied IKF rules. Teams alternate attacking raids and defensive tackles; it does not automatically apply the additional regulations of a professional league. A raider enters the opposing half, tries to touch defenders and returns safely while maintaining the prescribed chant. Defenders try to prevent that return without using prohibited holds.
