This guide explains standard team kabaddi using the supplied IKF rules. Teams alternate attacking raids and defensive tackles; it does not automatically apply the additional regulations of a professional league.

How play works

A raider enters the opposing half, tries to touch defenders and returns safely while maintaining the prescribed chant. Defenders try to prevent that return without using prohibited holds.
