The bonus line

When it is available
The bonus is available with at least 6 defenders, counting suspended or disqualified players as specified in the source. A valid crossing earns 1 point and must occur before a tag or struggle.
How it is earned
The raider must ground part of the body beyond the bonus line without ground contact between the midline and bonus line. Being caught while crossing prevents the bonus; a completed crossing can still count if the raider is caught later.
Independent explanations and translations, not official federation publications. This guide explains standard team kabaddi using the supplied IKF rules. Teams alternate attacking raids and defensive tackles; it does not automatically apply the additional regulations of a professional league. A raider enters the opposing half, tries to touch defenders and returns safely while maintaining the prescribed chant. Defenders try to prevent that return without using prohibited holds.
