In short

Puck handling, delay and unsporting behaviour.

Delay

Deliberately delaying play can be penalized. Shooting or batting the puck directly out over the glass from the defending zone normally brings a minor; deflections, direct face-offs and specified openings are treated differently.

Behaviour

Illegally closing a hand on the puck, diving and unsporting conduct have their own sanctions. A skater covering the puck in the goal crease may concede a penalty shot; not every puck stoppage has the same consequence.
