A separate future-year appendix

Appendix C7 identifies approved changes for 2028 and uses its own colour convention to compare them with the 2027 text. These provisions must not be read as the current season’s limits. The appendix addresses power-unit energy flow, electrical output, energy-store operation and turbocharger requirements, with revised wording shown alongside the earlier provisions.

Reading the future package

Further changes concern power-unit mass, compressor-housing materials, drawings and the component upgrade table. Read these as a coordinated future package, together with the relevant definitions and referenced tables. Editorial comments and explanatory notes are not binding regulations. This page identifies the future scope without silently substituting those limits into the main technical summaries.

Independent explanations and translations, not official federation publications. Three supplied FIA documents, with different seasons: general provisions 2026 (Issue 03, 25/06/2026), sporting rules 2026 (Issue 09, 01/10/2026), and technical rules 2027 (Issue 3, 01/10/2026). Read each section for its stated season. Future changes are identified separately. Independent condensed explanations; the supplied PDFs remain the source.
